The Gifted Support Teacher will serve gifted students in grades K-12 and utilize current strategies and theories to plan, organize and create an environment in which gifted learners can feel challenged and safe to explore. This is a full time, contract position. The Pennsylvania Department of Education Certification Staffing Policy Guidelines (CSPGS) #105 for Gifted Enrichment Programs PK-12 allows an individual with a Pennsylvania Instructional I or II certificate to teach an enrichment program for gifted students regardless of content or grade level.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university
- Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Certification
- 2+ years of dynamic teaching experiences

Instructional Aide
The School District of Jenkintown is actively seeking a full-time instructional assistant to support students with special needs by providing individualized behavioral and academic supports with an emphasis on functional emotional and social skills development. Instructional assistants help implement adapted academic programming, student goals, Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSP), and specially designed instruction as outlined in the student’s Individualized Education Plan (IEP).
