Anticipated Instructional Assistant Opening
At Jenkintown, we believe every student deserves the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive. We are anticipating a full-time Instructional Assistant opening to support students with special needs by providing individualized academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support in an inclusive learning environment.
Instructional Assistants work closely with teachers and related service providers to implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), Positive Behavior Support Plans (PBSPs), and specially designed instruction while helping students build independence, confidence, and success.
This is a full-time, 10-month (188-day) position with an anticipated start date of August 24, 2026. The starting rate is $20.00 per hour with a competitive benefits package.

Athletics – Sports
At Jenkintown, we believe athletic and co-curricular experiences provide opportunities for our students to learn and grow. Our coaches work to create an environment that promotes growth, development, and success for their athletes.
The School District of Jenkintown is excited to expand athletic opportunities for our students and is seeking outstanding candidates to join our coaching team. We are currently accepting applications for Head Golf Coach and Co-Ed Intramural Flag Football Coach/Program Coordinator for the 2026-2027 school year.
Our coaches play a vital role in helping students develop confidence, leadership, teamwork, and sportsmanship while creating a positive and inclusive experience for all participants. Before and After School Care Program Positions
The School District of Jenkintown is seeking Assistant Group Supervisors. The before-school program hours are 6:45 am to 8:30 am, and the after-school program hours are 2:45 pm to 6:00 pm. There are flexible schedule options available and college students are encouraged to apply. Lunch & Recess Assistant Opening
The School District of Jenkintown is seeking enthusiastic, energetic, and student-centered adults to assist during elementary lunches and recess. Successful candidates will help students access their lunch in the cafeteria and supervise students during recess to ensure a safe and positive environment.
Hours: 11:15 -1:15 pm daily
Salary: $15.00 per hour
