| During the 2025-2026 school year, the Superintendent will work with the administrative team to leverage artificial intelligence (AI) with staff to enhance student learning, support educator effectiveness, while upholding strong commitments to student privacy, ethical use, equity, and promoting digital citizenship. The district will establish policy, thoughtfully approve AI tools, provide ongoing professional development, and regularly review AI practices to ensure alignment with educational objectives, legal requirements, community values, and the principles of responsible digital participation.
Objective 1: Explore and Integrate Generative AI Tools K-12 (e.g., Gemini, MagicSchool, Perplexity, Padlet)
Measurement: Develop and formally adopt a position statement on the best uses of AI in education that clearly defines ethical guidelines, pedagogical goals, and practical applications, with annual reviews by the administrative team. Objective 2: Enhance Educator Effectiveness K-12 through AI-Powered Professional Development
Measurement: Tracked via participation rates, evidence of practice changes through educator feedback, and instructional coaching notes. |

| During the 2025-2026 school year, the Superintendent will collaborate with the administrative team and faculty to enhance student mental health and well-being while increasing supports for social-emotional learning and safe school environments.
Objective 1: Increase student access to mental health and social-emotional supports:
Measurement: Verified through lesson plans and monthly administrator walkthrough observations, as well as improved access for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 mental health supports (tracked via MTSS/SAP referral data). Objective 2: Strengthen school climate and student well-being:
Measurement: Demonstrated through staff compliance observations during identified no-use times and student self-reporting on climate surveys, showing an improvement in perceived classroom focus and safety related to cell phone usage. |

| During the 2025-2026 school year, the Superintendent will collaborate with the administrative team to continue to lead a comprehensive initiative to enhance data-driven decision-making by integrating programs in grades K-5, and leveraging multiple data platforms within the existing LinkIt framework.
Objective 1: Enhance Data-Driven Instruction and Assessment
Measurement: Measured by the integration of AimsWeb, i-Ready, LinkIt, and Amplify Desmos data into goal reports and an annual presentation to the Board and community. Objective 2: Foster Innovative Math Instruction Through Amplify Desmos Pilot (Grades K-5)
Measurement: Demonstrated by full participation in the Amplify Desmos pilot, ongoing assessment data analysis, and professional development. Objective 3: Strengthen Tiered Supports Through MTSS Using Multiple Data Platforms
Measurement: Achievement will be shown through MTSS meetings, reviewing data to guide interventions, increased student progress following tiered supports, and a reduction in students needing intensive Tier 3 interventions. AimsWeb and LinkIt reports will also confirm increased use of data platforms. |
