Goal Status

Objective 1: Explore and Integrate Generative AI Tools K-12 (e.g., Gemini, MagicSchool, Perplexity, Padlet)

• Utilize generative AI to differentiate instruction, such as reading passages, question sets, or scaffolded writing prompts tailored to student readiness levels.
• Empower staff to use AI ethically and effectively as a tool for brainstorming, revising, or generating ideas in support of academic goals and digital literacy.

Measurement:

Develop and formally adopt a position statement on the best uses of AI in education that clearly defines ethical guidelines, pedagogical goals, and practical applications, with annual reviews by the administrative team.

Objective 2: Enhance Educator Effectiveness K-12 through AI-Powered Professional Development

• Facilitate collaborative learning by leveraging AI-driven platforms for sharing best practices, lesson ideas, and feedback among staff.
• Support reflective practice by utilizing AI tools to analyze classroom data and provide actionable insights for instructional improvement.

Measurement:

Tracked via participation rates, evidence of practice changes through educator feedback, and instructional coaching notes.

Objective 1: Increase student access to mental health and social-emotional supports:

• Implement SEL curriculum in K–12 classrooms.
• Expand tiered mental health counseling services and tiered supports. 

Measurement:

Verified through lesson plans and monthly administrator walkthrough observations, as well as improved access for students receiving Tier 2 and Tier 3 mental health supports (tracked via MTSS/SAP referral data).

Objective 2: Strengthen school climate and student well-being:

• Strengthen school climate practices by implementing PBIS and/or restorative practices in schools.
• Establish and enforce clear cell phone usage guidelines in all schools.

Measurement: 

Demonstrated through staff compliance observations during identified no-use times and student self-reporting on climate surveys, showing an improvement in perceived classroom focus and safety related to cell phone usage.

Objective 1: Enhance Data-Driven Instruction and Assessment

• Integrate AimsWeb, i-Ready, LinkIt, and Amplify Desmos Math data to provide a comprehensive analysis of student performance.
• Implement and refine common grade-level and subject-area assessments, and use data insights to identify strengths and areas for targeted improvement.

Measurement:

Measured by the integration of AimsWeb, i-Ready, LinkIt, and Amplify Desmos data into goal reports and an annual presentation to the Board and community. 

Objective 2: Foster Innovative Math Instruction Through Amplify Desmos Pilot (Grades K-5)

• Launch and support the Amplify Desmos Math pilot in grades K-5, utilizing its integrated print and digital resources, manipulatives, and interactive lessons to promote student engagement and computational thinking.
• Leverage formative and summative assessments from Amplify Desmos Math to monitor student progress and inform instructional adjustments.
• Provide ongoing professional development throughout the full-year pilot.
• Gather feedback from teachers and students to evaluate and refine the pilot program.

Measurement:

Demonstrated by full participation in the Amplify Desmos pilot, ongoing assessment data analysis, and professional development. 

Objective 3: Strengthen Tiered Supports Through MTSS Using Multiple Data Platforms

• Leverage AimsWeb, i-Ready, LinkIt, Amplify Desmos Math, and other data platforms to support the MTSS team’s decision-making for tiered academic and behavioral interventions.
• Facilitate regular MTSS meetings to review data, identify students in need of additional support, and monitor the effectiveness of interventions.
• Use data insights to allocate resources effectively and ensure interventions are responsive, evidence-based, and tailored to student needs.

Measurement:

Achievement will be shown through MTSS meetings, reviewing data to guide interventions, increased student progress following tiered supports, and a reduction in students needing intensive Tier 3 interventions. AimsWeb and LinkIt reports will also confirm increased use of data platforms.

Objective 1: Expand Co-Curricular Offerings

• Develop new and/or improved clubs, activities, and organizations that cater to diverse student interests and passions.
• Propose and facilitate improved club offerings for 2024-2025 that reflect the current interests of the student body, with an emphasis on adding more co-curricular opportunities for elementary school students.
• Foster a supportive environment that encourages student collaboration, leadership, and personal growth through co-curricular experiences.

Objective 2: Strengthen Curricular Programs

• Write a Science and Technology Curriculum to address the Implementation of Science, Technology Engineering, and Environmental Literacy Sustainability Standards. 
• Write Special Area Curricula focusing on Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
• Survey students and staff about potential new elective courses/programs for the 2025-2026 school year.

• Foster a supportive environment that encourages a climate of collaboration, leadership, and personal growth for all staff throughout the District.
• Establish a Professional Learning Committee, with staff from both buildings, to plan and create varied learning opportunities, including workshops and training led by teacher leaders, articulation opportunities, and off-site experiences. 
• Expand teacher leadership opportunities through various committees, including, but not limited to, Multi-Tiered Systems of Support, Student Assistance Program, Data Committee,  Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging Committee, Wellness Committee, Safety Committee, and the Threat Assessment Team..
• Afford teachers planning and articulation time to collaborate with colleagues, both in and out of the district. (Montgomery County Intermediate Unit, Pennsylvania Training and Technical Assistance Network, neighboring school districts, University of Pennsylvania).
• Highlight teacher and student successes at Board Meetings throughout the year. 

• Benchmark Testing and Data Analysis:
  • Implement common grade-level/subject-area assessments.
  • Conduct an analysis of student performance on District and State assessments to identify strengths and areas for improvement.
• Teacher Involvement and Professional Development:
  • Collaborate with teachers in ongoing data analysis to inform instructional strategies and improve student outcomes.
  • Use data-driven insights to guide professional development efforts.
• Student Progress Monitoring:
  • Update students’ grades regularly in PowerSchool to enhance progress monitoring and provide timely feedback and support for students and parents.
  • Analyze student and cohort performance to drive targeted interventions and instructional adjustments.
  • The administrative team will share data, as appropriate, with the Board and community at Board Meetings throughout the year.
