JES Supply Lists

The district supplies wipes, paper towels, hand sanitizer, and tissues to every classroom; however, if you would like to donate a specific brand of these items to your child’s classroom for shared use, please feel free to do so.

Kindergarten

Do Not Label with your Student’s First and Last Name:

6 – My First Ticonderoga Pencils
4 packs – Crayola “Large Crayons” (16 colors)
2 boxes – Crayola Washable markers (12 count)
6 large (over .5 ounces) glue sticks
Preferably Elmer’s or Avery Brand
2 – 4 pack of Black Expo Markers
2 – Erasers
Pink or white rectangular shape
3 – plastic pocket folders
1 blue
1 red
1 yellow

1 – Over the head headphones for Chromebooks
Labeled with first and last name in a large Ziploc bag
1 – Lunchbox

1 – Backpack (Please do not purchase one with wheels – kindergarteners have a hard
time managing them in the hallways and classroom)

Large enough to hold a folder, library books, and a Chromebook
1- Reusable water bottle – they will be sent home each day for washing

First Grade

SUPPLIES FOR SCHOOL – PLEASE BRING TO SCHOOL ON THE FIRST DAY

  • 2 boxes of 24Crayola crayons, (ONLY 24 COUNT) 
  • 1 pair of plastic handled scissors
  • 12 TICONDEROGA pencils, a must!  It is the only brand that works well in the sharpener and has a good eraser.  Please sharpen ALL of the pencils. 
  • 12 LARGE Elmer’s Glue Sticks to start the year
  • 2 erasers
  • 1 set of watercolor paint
  • 5 Expo markers, black (not thin)
  • White Board eraser (small enough to fit in pencil box)
  • 2 boxes of washable primary colored markers (8 or 10 Pack) 
  • 1 Green, 1 Blue and 1 Red Plastic (heavy duty, poly binder, no gussets) folder
  • 1 Fun Folder of your choice (ex: unicorns, superheroes etc.)
  • 3 packs of 3×3 post-it notes
  • 2 fine black sharpie markers
  • 2 ultra-fine black sharpie markers
  • 2 – 4 ounce cans of Play Doh (any color)
  • Computer Headphones (Five Below) 
  • 2 plastic pencil boxes – LABEL  – They MUST fit in your child’s desk!

(Approximately 5.5 x 8.5)

  • Lunch container LABEL
  • BackpackLARGE enough to hold folders, library books and a Chromebook.  Please do not purchase one with wheels-children have a difficult time managing them in the hallways and classroom LABEL
  • Reusable water bottle–  it will be used in the classroom-sent back and forth each day for at-home cleaning and refilling. LABEL

  • PENCIL BOX 2:MARKERS and 1 BOX OF CRAYONS (KEEP MARKERS AND CRAYONS IN THE PACKAGING)

*PENCIL BOXES ARE TO BE SENT TO SCHOOL ON THE FIRST DAY! Some items may need to be replenished later in the year, especially crayons and glue sticks.  A note will be sent home when supplies are low. 

Second Grade

  • 3 marble copybooks
  • 1 spiral copybook
  • Folders in the following colors:

2 Green

Red

Yellow

Blue

  • 1 pair of headphones
  • 2 small containers of PlayDoh
  • 1 pack of highlighters
  • 1 pair of scissors
  • 1 box of crayons
  • 1 box of thin markers
  • Multicultural crayons (pack of 8)
  • 12 glue sticks
  • 1 pack of dry erase markers
  • 1 pencil case
  • 4 packs of pencils

Third Grade

1 pack of glue sticks
2 12-packs of sharpened pencils
1 pair of scissors
1 pack of erasers
1 box of colored pencils OR crayons
1 box of Crayola washable markers (8 or 12 count)
Earbuds that fit easily in desk
Folders, one of each color: red, orange, yellow, green, blue
Fabric pencil case that can easily fit in desk
2 wide-ruled composition books
1 one-subject wide-ruled spiral notebook

Fifth Grade

● All students will need a chapter book to read for the first day of school
● All supplies are due in school by the first day of school
● Classroom supplies will need to be replenished as needed throughout the school
year.
● Please have first and last name clearly written on each item
Students will need the following:
● 4-Two pocket folders (made of durable poly material) in the following colors
(Please label the colors with the following subjects)

○ Blue- Social Studies
○ Yellow- Math
○ Red- Language Arts
○ Green- Science
● 4 different colored highlighters
● 4 Sticky notes/Post-it note pad
● 1 80-page marble composition books
● 1 Folder for Music class
● Earbuds
● 1 soft zippered pencil case
● 4 black Papermate Flair felt tip pens
● 1 box of 12 colored pencils
● 3 boxes of 12 #2 pencils (please SHARPEN all pencils before first day of
school)
● 1 set of 4 dry erase markers and eraser
● Hand Held Manual Pencil Sharpener
● A pack of glue sticks
● 2 red pens
Donations appreciated for the following item:

Sixth Grade

  • 3 marble copybooks

  • 1.5 inch binder

  • Folders (red, yellow, green, blue)

  • 2 red, blue, and black  pens

  • Pencils (as many as possible, keep some at home to replenish)

  • Glue sticks (as many as possible)

  • Pencil Sharpener that fits into a pencil case

  • Highlighters

  • Post It Notes

  • Pencil case

  • Ruler, calculator (Texas Instruments: TI-30XIIS preferred), and protractor

  • Earbuds

  • 1 pack of dry-erase markers and sock or small whiteboard eraser

  • Crayons, colored pencils, and markers (thin or thick)
