The Jenkintown Drakes secured an impressive win on the road against Renaissance Academy, racking up a season-high score with a 57-0 victory! It was an all-around team effort, with the Drakes controlling the game from start to finish.
Leading the charge was Nick Dvalishvili, who rushed for 85 yards and two touchdowns on just 11 carries—his best performance since October 2023. On defense, Noah Wehagen delivered a game-changing play, converting an interception into a touchdown.
Jenkintown’s ground game was unstoppable, amassing 250 rushing yards, marking the third consecutive game the team has improved in this area. The defense was relentless, forcing four fumbles, with Manny Bowens contributing two of them.
Now sitting at 3-2, the Drakes are looking strong as they prepare to face Columbia Montour Vo-Tech at home this Friday at 7:00 p.m. With Jenkintown’s defense allowing just 14.2 points per game, their opponents will certainly have a challenge ahead.
