The School District of Jenkintown Alumni Hall of Fame recognizes Jenkintown alumni who have demonstrated outstanding achievement, leadership, service, or impact in their professional and/or personal endeavors.
Nomination Guidelines:
- Nominees must be graduates of the Jenkintown School District and must demonstrate distinction in at least one of the following areas:
- Leadership: The nominee has held leadership roles that advanced an organization, institution, community, or cause. Leadership may include, but is not limited to, roles in business, education, public service, the military, nonprofit organizations, the arts, trades, or entrepreneurship.
- Professional or Field-Based Achievement: The nominee has made significant contributions to their profession, discipline, or field of work and is recognized for excellence, innovation, or influence.
- Service or Philanthropy: The nominee has made meaningful contributions that benefit others through service, volunteerism, advocacy, or philanthropic efforts (financial or non-financial).
Requirements for Induction:
- Nominees must have graduated from the School District of Jenkintown at least five (5) years prior to the year of nomination.
Other Items to Note:
- Nominations may be submitted by any individual or organization.
- Posthumous nominations will be accepted.
- The selection committee will meet to review all nominations, and select candidates based on the stated criteria.
- Nominations will be kept on file and will remain eligible for reconsideration for five (5) years from initial nomination if not selected for induction. After five years, a candidate must be re-nominated in order to be considered.
Looking Ahead: Hall of Fame Planning
There is an interest in aligning Hall of Fame inductions with the All-Class Reunion, which is held every five years. Accordingly, the next Hall of Fame induction will take place at the upcoming All-Class Reunion in 2028. Going forward, Hall of Fame inductions will occur exclusively during All-Class Reunion years, on a five-year cycle.

- Nominations Open: July 1, 2028 through August 15, 2028
- Deadline to Submit Nominations: August 15, 2028
- Second Induction: October 2028
Third Hall of Fame Induction (Anticipated)
- Nominations Open: July 1, 2033 through August 15, 2033
- Deadline to Submit Nominations: August 15, 2033
- Third Induction: October 2033
