Dear Jenkintown School District Community,

As we head into summer, I want to take a moment to thank our entire school community for supporting our district throughout the past school year, and to celebrate a great accomplishment.

Jenkintown High School has been named the Top 20th high school in Pennsylvania in the 2024 U.S. News and World Report school rankings (Jenkintown High School’s U.S. News Profile Page). With a graduation rate of 100%, and with our strong academic scores, Jenkintown received a rating of 95.51. The rankings also include factors like college readiness, curriculum breadth, and underserved student performance.

While no singular ranking of a school, or school district, should be the sole measure of our success, it’s still a testament to the phenomenal work of our faculty and staff. It’s also a great reflection on the relationships they have developed with our students, the dedication and hard work of our young people, and the support that we receive from our parent community.

We know that Jenkintown is a very special place, and one in which we are proud to work and live. I am excited to begin to share information in the coming months about our 150th anniversary celebrations and activities planned for the 2024-25 school year.

Thank you again for your support, and enjoy the summer! Congratulations to the class of 2024!

Sincerely,

Jill Takacs, Ed.D.

Superintendent of Schools
